Drifting through both day and night
With every dawn comes a new fight
My mind is the battlefield, broken and wrecked
My emotions the dying, their wounds left unchecked
My sanity slipping, ever closer to the abyss
Slowly into the arms of a welcoming maddness
But still I hold on, I continue the fight
Even if, for now, no end is in sight
Loved ones are my strength
And hope my sword
Together they are pushing me forward
So let the war come, for here I stand ready
Despite my fatigue, my resolve remains steady
A breath and a shout and the fight begins again
The only difference...
This time: Im going to win
With every dawn comes a new fight
My mind is the battlefield, broken and wrecked
My emotions the dying, their wounds left unchecked
My sanity slipping, ever closer to the abyss
Slowly into the arms of a welcoming maddness
But still I hold on, I continue the fight
Even if, for now, no end is in sight
Loved ones are my strength
And hope my sword
Together they are pushing me forward
So let the war come, for here I stand ready
Despite my fatigue, my resolve remains steady
A breath and a shout and the fight begins again
The only difference...
This time: Im going to win

She's Not Gone Forever
Her soul's still here Her soul's not gone In the wings of the wind In the first gold of dawn In the joys you share Every break, every tear A frozen rose underfoot In your eyes, dark with soot No flood you pour out No feelings of strife Can extinguish the fire Passion in your life She may hide a while 'Neath the guise of a smile But just give her a taste - With her gifts you'll be graced.

The Foodbaby Fiasco, 5 (updated)
Five: Pizza Party - - - - - - - - - - January 25, 2020 The neighbors could probably hear the front room’s music. The chatter from the den drowned out the movie on the impressive home theater. A trio of tipsy guests stood at the glass rear wall, wondering aloud if ‘near-freezing’ meant ‘too cold for the pool’. Activity flooded the house: an impromptu video game tournament in a side room, an uproarious round of a certain adult card game at the dining room table, inappropriate stories told off in a corners, and a dance-off in the small in-home gym. Carol’s family insisted they weren’t rich; after all, her father only made shy of three hundred grand a year, and her mother barely made a six-figure salary. Their home was a mere two-point-five thousand square feet on six acres, and its deck and pool weren’t as impressive as their neighbors’. They all drove entry-spec Mercedes-Benzes too, and had a meager thousand-a-month budget for new clothes. That was totally middle class. Snark

Magic Dresses 3
Two of the Sunnys were walking in identical purple dresses, while the last one wore the green one. They called the two in purple Violet and Lavender, while the green one was called Ivy. Ivy couldn't figure out the neck, so she just poked her head through one of the openings thinking she would just find another dress when they got to the master bedroom. They could hear some shh-ing and some footsteps from the bedroom. Just as Violet was about to open the door to the bedroom, Sunny opened it. It bumped into something. "Come on! I was trying to be intimidating here", she said, frustrated over the door hitting her bust as she opened it. Violet took the door and opened it, while laughing. That was until each of them saw the bust. The trio shouted in unison "What the heck?!" Sunny smiled, feeling that this made up for the clumsy door opening. She felt Luna behind her, putting a hand on her back and zipping up her dress again. She could hear Luna giggling, and Sunny shh-ed her, before smiling

Wrote this during some rough times a while back. Came across it today and figured I would upload it.
